Biography: 

Del Insko is one of the sport's leading dash winners with 4,684 career victories and over $28 million in purses. A sought-after catch driver, Insko guided such top-flight performers as Overcall, Speedy Rodney, Savoir and Rum Customer. In 1960, when he was 29 years old, Insko became the youngest driver to capture the North American Dashwinning Championship. In 1975 he made a triple sweep of Roosevelt's International Trotting Series, with Horse of the Year Savoir. One of Insko's biggest thrills was winning the $2 million Woodrow Wilson Pace with Land Grant in 1980.
