Bred by Uptown Stable, broodmare Sweet Future was foaled on April 15, 1998 in Cream Ridge, New Jersey. She is currently owned by Birnam Wood Farms.

The progeny that qualified Sweet Future for the Hall of Fame are 2011 Dan Patch Two-Year-Old Pacing Colt of the Year, 2014 Dan Patch Pacer of the Year and Older Pacing Horse of the Year, world champion Sweet Lou p,5,1:47f ($3,478,894) by Yankee Cruiser; and world champion Bettor Sweet p,4,1:47.2 ($2,782,353) by Bettor’s Delight.

At the time of her induction, Sweet Future had produced five fillies and seven colts, with ten starters from ten foals of racing age and total earnings of $6,953,586.
