allen brewer, jr.
Born in 1921 at Newton Center, Massachusetts, Allen Brewer was an owner of Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds in Lexington, Kentucky. He was an excellent artist, and his renderings of horses won him worldwide fame. He also was one of the few men licensed to drive Standardbreds and train both breeds of horses. Allen Brewer died in a plane crash in 1967 at the height of his career.
