A McKinney-Belle Winnie horse, Belwin was foaled in 1910 and was unbeaten as a racehorse. He was retired to stud in 1915 and is credited with 319 Standard performers. When Belwin died in 1936 at Clear Spring Farm near Indianapolis, Indiana, he had produced 151 racehorses in 2:10 and 319 Standard performers. Belwin's race record was 2:06 3/4.
