Bred by Gaetan Dessureault of St. Constant, Quebec, pacer JC's Nathalie was foaled on March 6, 1988. She raced from 1990 to 1994, finishing on the board in 61 of her 144 starts and earning more than $250,000, mostly from Quebec Sires Stakes competition. She was claimed at Mohawk Racetrack by John Lamers in 1993 for $25,000.
The progeny that qualified JC's Nathalie for the Hall of Fame are 2010 O'Brien (Canadian) Horse of the Year and Older Pacing Mare of the Year Dreamfair Eternal p,5,1:49 ($1,630,693) by Camluck and 2002 Provincial Cup winner Dreamfair Vogel p,4,1:49.3s ($871,132) by Village Jiffy.
Homebred by John and Mary Lamers, Dreamfair Eternal began racing in 2006, and currently owns a record of 104-46-15-5. Her major victories to date have included the 2009 Roses Are Red and the 2010 Artiscape, Ontario Master Series, Milton Stakes, Breeders Crown and Forest City. Also homebred by the Lamers, Dreamfair Vogel raced from 2001 to 2007, finishing on the board in 35 of his 70 starts. In 2001, the two-year-old Dreamfair Vogel won the Battle of Waterloo and an Ontario Sire Stakes final. The following year, in addition to his Provincial Cup victory, Dreamfair Vogel won the Ontario Sire Stakes Gold final and Canadian Breeders Championship.
Between 1996 and 2009, JC's Nathalie produced five fillies and seven colts, of which eleven have raced. Along with Dreamfair Eternal and Dreamfair Vogel, she has several stakes winners and two additional $100,000 performers. Dreamfair Zoya p,5,1:53s ($110,550) and Dreamfair Luckivee p,4,1:54.2f ($101,399).
JC's Nathalie died in May 2018. Her total foal earnings at the time of her death were $4,076,951. She performed her broodmare duties for the Lamers at their Dreamfair Stables in Ingersoll, Ontario.
