Biography:
A native of Kansas, P. Walter Moser was a top turf photographer and journalist. He represented several horse journals both as a reporter and business agent, beginning with the Horseman at Indianapolis. Moser served in a similar capacity for the Horse Review, Hoof Beats and The Harness Horse. He also became well known for his book about the life of Greyhound. Moser was one of the few men well versed in breeding and performance of both Standardbreds and Thoroughbreds. He died suddenly in 1942 in Sabetha, Kansas, at the age of 60.
