What’s new at the Harness Racing Museum?

HARNESS RACING HALL OF FAME WEEKEND - JULY 3-5

Goshen, NY – The annual Harness Racing Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place Sunday, July 5, 2026 in Goshen, New York at the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, celebrating our 75th anniversary. The Ceremony begins at 5:00 p.m.

Congratulations are in order for the newest class of Hall of Famers: Dr. John EgloffMarvin KatzMichael G. Kimelman and David Reid, and Communicators Derick Giwner and Tara Ellen Taylor. Also being honored are the new members of the Living Horse Hall of Fame: Bettor’s WishBuck I St PatManchegoNuncio and broodmares Eloquent Grace and Lucy’s PearlBea FarberMorton FinderJenna’s Beach BoyKikikatieNaughty But NiceRalph Hanover and Rum Customer will be inducted as Harness Racing Immortals. The 2025 Museum Amateur Driving Champion is Rodney DeBeckBeau Jangles will be honored with the Delvin & Mary Lib Miller 2025 Horse of the Year Perpetual Trophy.

HOF Dinner invitations were mailed last month. Tickets are $195 and are available by calling 845-294-6330.

The Museum’s 32nd Annual Restoration Raffle to support conservation care is in full swing. Call the Museum and buy your Raffle tickets now! Drawing will take place on July 5.

Explore new exhibits, including Hanover – The Greatest Name in Harness Racing for 100 Years in the Greyhound Gallery, the new interactive kiosks in the Hall of Fame and the celebration of the 250th birthday of the United States of America.

The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, 240 Main Street, Goshen, New York is open 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with free admission Hall of Fame Weekend. Historic Track will be racing Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a post time of 1:00 p.m., July 3-5.
