Bred by Brittany Farms of Versailles, Kentucky, pacing horse Bettor’s Wish was foaled on April 21, 2016 in Versailles. The son of Hall of Famer Bettor’s Delight competed from 2018-2020 and compiled a lifetime racing record of 44-24-13-4 and earnings of $2,601,233. He was owned by Bella Racing Ltd., Fair Island Farm Inc., Chris Ryder and Kenneth Solomon.

In 2018, two-year-old Ontario Sire Stakes star Bettor’s Wish, driven by Paul MacDonell, finished on the board in 11 of 12 starts with 5 wins and earnings of $272,056.

In his sophomore season, trained by his part-owner, Hall of Famer Chris Ryder and driven by Dexter Dunn, Bettor’s Wish won 13 of 19 starts with 6 seconds. Major wins included the Milstein, Art Rooney, Tattersalls, Kentucky Sire Stakes final and the Matron Stakes.
