Sired by Immortal Beach Towel, world champion pacer Jenna’s Beach Boy (1992-2015) had a lifetime racing record of 42-30-5-3. At the time of his retirement, he was the only pacer to win three Breeders Crowns.
Jenna’s Beach Boy was bred by L&L Devisser Partnership of Holland, Michigan, and foaled on April 3, 1992 in Lexington, Kentucky. He was driven by William Fahy and trained by Joe Holloway.
In 1994, two-year old Jenna’s Beach Boy had 7 wins in 12 starts including the Breeders Crown and was named Dan Patch Two-Year-Old Pacing Colt of the Year.
Jenna’s Beach Boy began his sophomore season with a string of victories that included the New Jersey Classic, but just before the North America Cup he suffered a P-1 fracture. He returned to the track in September, winning an invitational at the Delaware County Fair and a late closer at The Red Mile in a world-record time of 1:48.4. He went on to win his second Breeders Crown and earn the titles of 1995 Dan Patch Pacer of the Year and Three-Year-Old Pacer of the Year.
At four in 1996, Jenna’s Beach Boy lowered the all-age race record to 1:47.3 at the Meadowlands in June. The Breeders Crown was held at the Big M in August and he won that as well. In the Senior Jug at Delaware, Ohio, Jenna’s Beach Boy became the first horse to break 1:50 on a half-mile track (1:49.3). He was voted Dan Patch Older Pacing Horse of the Year.
As a stallion, Jenna’s Beach Boy sired winners of over $71 million, including three millionaires: Total Truth p,4,1:48.3 $2,022,433, Shanghai Lil p,2,1:51.2 $1,070,251 and Three Olives p,3,1:50 $1,022,801. As a broodmare sire, Jenna’s Beach Boy sired the dams of winners of over $125 million, with seven millionaires, including Hall of Famer Wiggle It Jiggleit p,4,1:47.2 $3,945,839.
