For centuries, the horse has served man and inspired his respect. Whether packing a load of new-found gold in California or gallantly leading the cavalry in battle at Waterloo, the horse has long been an essential partner in human endeavor.
In this coloring book, gifted animal illustrator John Green and writer Robert Stephen Kendal team up to create a marvelous pictorial history of the horse-the species Equus caballus. Now horse lovers can learn fascinating facts about horses-history, breeds, types and more, while they color exciting scenes of horses in the fields, racing, at shows and in battle.
